Making Butter

Poor Mrs N needed butter but only had cream in her bag. We put the cream in the container and we all had a turn to shake it. We had to shake it really hard 13 times each. It turned into butter and butter milk. We got to have a taste. The liquid turned into a solid! What an experiment.

Cross County

On a sunny Monday the Otakaro team enjoyed running in the Cross Country. Ollie, Burak, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Gabriela and Natalie were placed. Well done to all of Room 11 who displayed our characteristics so well. Absolutely Brilliant.

Our buddy class is Room 7. We read to each other every 2 weeks. We are learning to communicate well and care for others but listening actively.

Science Alive

Wow..today was so much fun! We got to be scientists and experiment with water. We leant about solids, liquids and gases. You can measure steam and oil floats to the top! Look at our pictures.

Love Discovery!

What a fantastic discovery today. Lots of music, food and craft! The kids loved it. We made connections, worked hard and communicated well. Miss Yee had a broken heart so a kind person fixed it using the doctors kit. We CARE!!!

Please don't forget the poetry folder and spelling books for Friday lessons. If you want some websites to help your child at home try BBC bitesized Maths and Literacy. We use these in the classroom. Discovery is tomorrow. 9-10am. If you would like to help please see me.
