As part of our topic, we got to watch Toshi make sushi. We thought it was yummy! Tasting food from another culture was exciting.

I would just like to thank the children for their amazing reaction to the quakes on Tuesday. They went to the field and lined up so I could make sure all were accounted for. Then we played a few games and waited for their parents to fetch them. They were calm and listened carefully to all instructions and I was very proud to be their teacher. School is closed for the rest of the week and any information will be emailed to you or you can check out the Ministry of Education website for updates. I will hopefully see you all next week. Potatoes

Drew and Ryan dug up a big potato!!! We dug it up from the garden.

Discovery Time

Every 2nd Friday the Otakaro Team take part in Discovery Time. Activities include making, cooking, technology and many other developmental activities. Feel free to parent help at these important sessions.
